TEAM ALBERTA WINS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to all athletes of Team Alberta who brought thier best performances to Medicine Hat and took home the title and the trophy!

Information for all athletes regarding the games!

Team Alberta athletes are responsible for getting themselves to the games as well as accomodations and meals.

There is an optional team dinner on Friday July 10, @ 6pm located at Houston Pizza. Please RSVP to Head coach Robin if you would like to attend this dinner! (This is at your own cost)

Team Alberta uniforms will be handed out at the dinner on Friday evening. If you cannot make the team dinner, you can pick up your uniform Saturday morning at the track.

ALL ATHLETES are to arrive to the track on Saturday morning at 0830am!!! We will have a team alberta tent and will all meet there.

The track is located at Crescent Heights High School, 1501 Division Ave North, same track as where the trials were held.

Relay teams will be selected at the meet.

Saturday evening at 5pm, there will be a social for all team athletes and coaches from all teams. As Team Alberta is hosting this social, attendance is mandatory! The social will include dinner and will take place at the track. Bring warm clothing for the evening.

What you must bring to the meet!

1. White envelope with the medical information that you were given at the trials. Cant find it? please email mikerobinson@athleticsalberta.com
2. cooler with lots of food and drink for throughout the meet
3. bag with regular track uniforms, spikes, running shoes, water, rain gear, sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat!!! A chair and blanket or tent is also a good idea!

Midget Western Canada Summer Games 2009

Welcome everyone to the Midget Western Canada Summer Games website!

The games will be taking place on July 11-12 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. This 2 day competition will see the best of the midget age athletes in the province compete against the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Similiar to the Midget Dual games of the past, each team will battle it out for the top spot!

Please bookmark and check this site often for team information regarding the games, the events, schedule and general information.
